This presentation will provide information about JOM, discuss recent developments and directions, and answer audience questions. Tyson will reflect on his recent six years as co-EIC of JOM, providing insights into the strategies and opportunities for publishing therein. He will address the Journal’s surprising topical and methodological breadth and scope, areas and methods where more submissions are especially sought, etc. Also, as a former Department Editor of IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Tyson will discuss some of the contrasting approaches of each journal.

09.10 a.m. - Explore the Grand Palace complex on the banks of the Chao Phraya River and learn how the former Kings of Siam constructed their buildings. Hear more about the current monarchy of Thailand.
10.30 a.m. - Visit to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Wat Pho is home to a 46-meter-long and 15-meter-high Buddha statue and the first open university of Thailand.
Lunch
13.30 - Continue your beautiful journey with a long-tail boat ride, also called a "James Bond boat" and discover the way of life in Bangkok, Thonburi. Thonburi district’s canal was former capital city of Siam. Cruise along the canal to observe the way of living. Cruise past wooden house, school temple and rustic shop houses which are connected by the wooden walkway that follows the edge of the canal. Visit Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, which has a stunning tower with an intricate design. Photographic moments are waiting for you to seize them.
