Organizing Special Sessions

You are welcome to organize special session at IEEM2024. The goal of these special sessions is to provide a forum for focused discussion on new topics or innovative applications in established approaches. A special session could address a particular theme consisting of scientific research or project work done. Each organized session should have a minimum of 6 presentations and only accepted abstracts or papers of author presenters may be considered.

Each session is limited to no more than two organizers and the session organizer can designate a chair and co-chair for the session. Only registered participant can be designated as a session chair to avoid no show onsite. The allocated presentation time for each presentation is 15 minutes that includes the time for questions from the audience.

IEEM2024 is a community conference, organized by volunteers. There is no financial subsistence provided for session organizers, session chairs, and invitees. All IEEM participants including session organizers, chairs and invitees are required to register and pay registration fee.

Procedure:

  1. All submissions must strictly follow the submission guide here
  2. Proposals should include:
    1. Special Session Title
    2. A Short Description (2-3 lines) and covered topics
    3. Presenters’ Particulars must include:
      • Name, Affiliation and Contact
      • The Title of their Submitted Abstract or Paper
  3. Notify your special session proposal by email to info@ieem.org
